Is the song "The Court of King Caractacus" based on a real person?!

Question: Unfortunately I do not know the song, but Caratacus (sometimes spelled Caractacus) was a British Chieftan, he was the son of Cunobelinus King of the Catuvellauni people.
It was his battles against the Atrebates that caused Verica the Atrebates` leader to flee to Rome and beg the Emperor Claudius to come and help him, thereby triggering the Roman invasion of Britain in 43.
