He had a pre-existing sleeping disorder that made it hard for him to breathe. Combined with his codeine consumption, it proved to be deadly.
Honestly I was thinking that it may have been a heart attack just cause Pimp C was big guy. I though he would have been staying out of trouble considering he just got out of jail and has 3 children.

Not at all. Codeine is a strong ingredient found in "syrup" which is very popular in the south. Three 6 Mafia made a song about it.

i read on this website http://www.hiphopdx.com/, that it was not an overdose, it was prescription complications. Pimp C had sleep apnea (you stop breathing when you sleep) and the codeine put him to sleep.
