Johnny Cash made out fine talkin through most of his songs and so did Red Sovine and Bill Anderson did a lot of talkin in his too.. :)
well I dont know about having a good voice, but you certainly need either a dog that dies, a truck that wont go or a wife that leaves you......well thats what they all have in common anyways : )
Many years ago Walter Brennan did one about
the "Lost Dutchman Mine".
It was quite popular at the time and it was all spoken.
Also I think Tex Ritter did one about a deck of cards
and was all spoken.
