How do I know I can sing well?!
Question: I know I love to sing and I know Im good at it. I've been singing since I was 10 yrs old and I sing A LOT. I take vocals as one of my courses in school. Ive sang once infront of my friends and they said that I was really good and they cant get over my voice. But there are times when I keep singing then later I realize that its not good enough. I record my voice and there seems to be no problem. Its just after I sing so many times that I realize that Im not as good as I thought I would be. Is this because I sing too much?

I try not to get side tracked by what friends and family think. The only judgment that really counts is the judgment of those who know and understand the Industrie and it′s Techniques.
But, the other girl is right about one thing! It DOES matter that you′re having a BLAST doing it, too!!!!!!
well iiif people can tell yo0h that u siing well.... than u must... get more friends and parents adviice on thiis... anywayy... iits nOt how good or bad yo0h sound.... iit iis aslong as yo0h have fun and enjoy yourslef..... and besides... yy care what people thiink abOut yo0h..... just be yourself and enjoy singing and have as much fun as yo0h can. =]
u probably can sing, but just to make sure, go outside and sing a few bars (LOUDLY!) , if ur neighbor doesnt scream or a bird doesnt fall, then u should be all rite. If one of those do happen, then, well, get better and honest friends! lol
hi neil, u r young and i m sure u r talented too,maybe its your developing vocal cords thats fluctuating hence the different perception of differring standards.as to how good u r, u need a pro musician to tell u that.
if you can stay in tune with music and not lose it.
don't doubt b'coz there are witnesses ur friends...and i think as long as sing and sing ur voice will improve...
well if you have a camera and it has sound then just record you singing and there you go because you dont sound like you think you do in your head you sound completely different so that is a big downer ;]]
