Rap/Hiphop fans?!
Question: God how can you listen to this modern crap that's coming out!
Rap was once a great thing.
How could you do this? How could you support such bullshit!
Dude, this is the common story lately:
1. A rapper we've never heard about comes out.
2. They make a song that is played ever 10 minutes on the radio for a month.
3. That rapper gets rich.
4. That rapper becomes a one hit wonder.
5. We never hear of that rapper again after their album gets out there.
The question basically is what do you have to say about this?

This has always happened.. It is pretty bad now a days, but even in the early 90's, when rap was in some of its golden years, look at 69 Boyz "Tootsie Roll", Tag Team "Whoop There it Is", Quad City DJs and that come on ride the train crap and plenty of other songs like that... the problem now is that are less great rappers out there, and they are so far off mainstream that they are hard to find.
Lil' Wayne will save us though!!!!!........ just kidding, lil' wayne is one of the biggest problems. Just because you have 100 mixtapes, doesn't make you great. Quality beats quanitity. I wish more rappers knew that. And his raps are WEAK!!!! I still listen to some of his music, and I respect the dude for his passion. If some of the great rappers of today had the work ethic of lil' wayne, rap would be the number 1 genre of music today.

What i have to say is there are SOME rappers like Lupe Fiasco who are MODERN but are still amzing && defintealy not one hit bloody wonders!!!!!!!!
Most of the rappers aren't like that!! And there are gonna be some one hit wonders, in every genre at every time! Theres gonna br Rock one hit wonders, Rap one hit wonders, R&B one hit wonders, etc..
And by the way, if your point of view is that all the rappers today are on hit wonders. Then u havent heard

soulja boy is an example of what SHOULD be a one hit wonder, but people want to listen to obnoxious screaming and s*it all day apparently.
I don't have too much to say about it because I don't listen to the radio. But what I can say is that most rappers glorified here and in the media I actually think suck when I do bother to listen to one of their songs. But I do fill my time listening to Classic Hip Hop and still search for the slept on Artists that can be found out there today.
