Hey, Tex. I'll take OI' Waylon and good ol' Willie. When I was in college, I was in FarmHouse Fraternity, and that's the song we sang for Greek Sing one year, probably 1991. We listened to W&Ws version about a hundred times, and still never got tired of it.

Well I have not heard Kid and Kenny's version, but I will have to look it up. But you are talking about one of my all time favorite's songs...so I doubt I will be making a change on this one.

John Mellencamp's version of "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" might have been the best cover on that tribute album, though I still prefer Waylon's way.
