Currently music is completely free except for the U.S who considers free downloading illegal

But I don't live there and this is a site for free downloading
www.dvdvideosoft.com
Myriad of options including free Youtube downloads etc...
Simple instructions and system
Works great!

i think its fair where its at keep in mind this is these guys career they gotta eat too.
lol @ gold forks i feel u

you beat me too the radiohead example...that was absolutely brilliant..I think that's the next direction for music

NEVER.

It already is get limewire.

"They gotta eat" argument would be a lot more compelling if artists actually made money off of CD sales. Most of them don't. The VAST majority of that money goes to the record labels. The artists make their money off of touring and merchandise sales. I love supporting artists but I couldn't care less about supporting the greedy whores who make up the RIAA. That being said, I still buy albums as a show of respect to artists that I really like.

'A brother gotta eat....why don't you rap for food then'

But yeah i asked this on a forum a couple of days ago. But i said SHOULD it be free. And the responses i got were....

a) Its costs to make the music in the first place
b) People always want free things but are not willing to do anything free themselves..so these artists don't wanna put their heart into a project and not make money off of it.
c) Music is like any other job, the idea of not gettig paid to make it is ludicrous.

And so on. I'd get into my argument but i can't be bothered. Its too idealistic and a little on the left to assume that people will share their talents and wealth for no cost. Human nature is essentially flawed in that respect too. And there's also the argument of who the music belongs to in the first place for it to be distributed freely.

People always want somethin for nothin'. And if you really knew anything about the music business you'd know that artist get very little money off albums. The majority of there money comes from going on tours and other things that they're doing. You can't get rich off of just a CD alone.

Stop being cheap and COP THAT DISC!!!

Never. But they do make more than enough $$$ to sustain their lavish lifestyle. Type the artist and title into Google and look around. I find lots for free. You just have to search. Last yr. one of the rappers made 9 mil. on RINGTONES. And why does he need my dollar?

It's almost free now you just have to know where to get it.

Music is free now.

Unless you live in the USA or Australia
(The only 2 country's who have made file sharing illegal)

HAHA Suckers!!!
