How about "Mull of Kintyre" or "Flower of Scotland'?

If your voice is as good as Moira Kerr's, you could use her arrangement of "Loch Lomond," or "MacIain of Glencoe."

Another grand old traditional song you might consider would be "Barbara Allen." There are hundreds of different versions of that song.

Good Luck!

You're being judged by old hippies, right? OK, even if not, check out some Bob Dylan. They'll love it. Good songs, and tons of them. Easy to play. You can't miss!

"Going Home": Afro-American spiritual. Employed by Dvorak in the 2nd movement of his "New World Symphony". And in many films, such as "Snakepit" with Olivia de Haviland"; very touching, beautiful music.

"Where have all the flowers gone"
