If Keith Moon hadn't died, do you think The Who would've continued makin!

Question: Or do you think they were outta gas? I know they made 2 albums after his death, and they are actually decent I think. I just finished getting all The Who's albums, and kinda wish there were a few more as there seems to be something in every song I seem to enjoy.

Unquestionably.

The split was amicable between Daltrey, Entwistle, and Townshend, as they did regroup a few times before 2001, when they essentially permanently regrouped. Those three would occasionally show up on each other's solo albums during the time, too.

The split was basically caused by Roger Daltrey not being happy with Kenny Jones, as Keith Moon dying did destroy the original group aspect of the Who. He had an energy the band needed on stage, if you watch films like Amazing Journey you can hear Townshend and Daltrey saying exactly that, each band member fed off one another's energy, and Jones just wasn't supplying it.

YES! They would have kicked Huey Lewis' butt!

Yes

pete is the writer
so whatever u have now is what u would have even if Moon the Loon was alive
he was barely showing up at all for any recording sessions
i dont even think he recorded some albums
thats why he was so easily replaced

hes still the best though

the Kids are alright was the greatest movie ever
but u can see he barely is coherent in that film they say

I have not heard good things about Keith's solo stuff...

...read somewhere that his version of "Don't Worry Baby" made Brian Wilson cry because it was so bad.

I think the albums they did make would have been better. Pete Townshend put some great material on his solo albums of the 80's, but overall I think the quality of their output was slipping at the time of their last album with Moon. Too bad we'll never know.

what are you talking about they went on with a new drummer after keith moons death. they even continued there most recent tour last year with a new bass player after the death of john enwhitsle and also put out a new cd with all new song's on it and last i heard they are gearing up for a summer 08 tour will these guys ever stop?i guess you are never to old to rock&roll
