Did you know Metallica is playing Bonnaroo? It's officially over, just like when they sounded the death knell for Lollapalooza. I went to Lollapalooza the year ntharotep is talking about, in '93, in Jersey. We had those bands, except for They Might Be Giants, plus Fishbone, Dinosaur Jr. Best concert I ever saw.
I haven't been to a musical festival since Lollapaloser (our local term of love for it) was still around :)
Ahh, Alice in Chains, Front 242, Primus (I ran away from the brain eating lyrics of Primus back then), They Might be Giants...
