i can make fun of yours: bullet for my valentine. they sound like every other trashy band out there and what type of name is that. that sounds so emo. come on now say it slowly bullet...for..my...valentine. actually it reminds me of a lot of cd titles like i brought you my bullets, you brought me your love. so now they sound like posers and copiers.

Led Zeppelin...they epitomized plagiarism within the rock and roll industry. I saw Led Zeppelin open for Vanilla Fudge in 1968/9, and the Fudge blew them right off the stage. Everyone in attendance that day agreed. Led Zeppelin were largely influenced by the Fudge, in particular the rhythm section of Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice.
Bonzo and Jones only wished that they had the chops those guys had. It was evident that day who the professionals were, and who the wannabes were.
Led Zeppelin...most overrated band ever...next to MCR and FOB of course.
Jimmy Page...a genius or a charlatan? I'd say the later.

first of all, i already know you dont know a thing about music. for example, the three bands you listed are clearly made up. you seem pretty close minded in your musical taste. i mean, have you even heard of any other bands, besides those pretend ones. why dont you listen to bands people have heard of? are you afraid people will be able to detect that you are a musical fraud? and what is the deal with progressive rock anyway? just a bunch of 10 minute songs that dont go anywhere, no thought, no talent involved whatsoever. its embarrassing that these guys have to compete in the same music industry as real bands...im talking about nickelback of course.

I have never listened to Wishbone Ash ( I want to), so I can't bash 'em.
Yes: They have too many long songs like Pink Floyd. THEY SUCK. Jon Anderson's little vocal performance in "We Have Heaven" is pathetic. It disgraces the vocal harmonies. Chris Squire and Steve Howe can't play at all, and Bill Bruford is nothing!!!! I mean they say "Starship Trooper" has one of the best guitar solos, but I don't hear anything good at all. And they say "Roundabout" has one of the best basslines, but it's terrible. Oh, and Rick Wakeman is only known for his cape.
Dire Straits: Mark Knopfler sucks. He can't play the guitar. He just plays a couple notes and maybe adds in a simple riff. How is that good?!
