Trying to remember an old "song" where a man was talking about life le!

Question: I can't remember exactly when I heard it, but it might have been up to ten years ago now. It was either before mp3s were big or before they were made all together.

In the song, it sounds like an old man who is just talking about life lessons while some music plays int he background. I remember it was played on the radio, and I think it was popular for a little bit.

I really cannot remember the lyrics, but I think it might have had some quotes like "dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening", but it might not.

I will know it when I hear it, and it sounds very unlike any song I've ever heard. But I just can't remember what the song was.

It might be Baz Luhrman's "Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen (Class of '99)". Over 7 minutes or so.

Edit: It doesn't really have your quote, though =/. It was just something that popped to mind.
