Yeah we talked about this in my AP Gov class a few weeks ago...

I was one of the first people to vote in Cali lol...on the real though, I worked at a polling place all day, and as soon as we opened up the doors and announced that the polls were now open in California, I went and voted...turned 18 in December too.

Blacks weren't supposed to be allowed to vote? Hmmm, I read about that but lets be serious... That would cause an uproar so great that the US would probably be in shambles.

Fifteenth Amendment - Right of Citizens to Vote

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

EDIT: I couldn't vote due to Florida being stripped of all of it's delegates. Oh well... Not that I think our votes really matter anyways... It's all up to the delegates when you think about it.

I didn't vote and i am white because i don't really know much about government issues. And plus most of the votes just get thrown out anyway. I will be voting when we vote for president.
We don't need another republican to crumble the world.

Why waste my time , Clinton gonna win anyway
plus I had to watch the Giants parade

I vote everytime an election presents itself, but at times I do feel as if my vote really doesn't count toward the presidential election.....besides if you look at how it really goes (referring to the electoral college votes), the popular vote (our votes) really doesn't count.......the popular vote is only to influence the electoral college votes...its not a gurantee ...but too many of my people fought, marched, died and suffered so I could have the right to vote, so I do it anyways.......

what year are we are going to be lynched from a tree for not obeying the master

As a black man.... I do not vote.
