"What's the song title and artist?" does *not* mean "Please, would 5 people paste the whole lyrics to this song".

I do it out of habit, especially when the person isn't quite sure of the lyrics. Just trying to help out a bit more than asked for, I guess. Since I personally love to know the lyrics of a song.
Maybe they want to make sure they have the right song and aren't giving you the wrong name.
I'd rather that people post the whole lyrics or something if they could! I am trying to figure out the Artist and Song of something and I'd take any help I could get! :)
I think they are trying to help- I know I do it to make sure I am giving them the right information for the right song. I think this question is rude, people are just trying to help.

Yeah that bugs me, same as when the first answer is wrong and they copy and paste your later answer when they realise! I reckon people just want the first answer so put dross in then edit it later when they see other better answers!
lol it annoys me too. if i ask for even a one word answer they copy and paste a page full of text. they might as well just give me the key points or paste a link.
