Yep... I no longer do so, unless I can make someone feel stupid.

i sure hope so....it is soooooo formula now....
Not like it was in the day.....

I just don't. Let 'em hate man!

no
i get tired of people blaming hip-hop for everything that's wrong with youth
people need 2 realize that music is a reflection of the times
hip-hop reflects our society
so we need 2 change the way our society is and the music will follow

Why bother? Hip hop is simply a bunch of guys talkin at about 200 words per minute, it can't technically be counted as music, just because there's music in the background.

Oh, God... yes I do! It's so annoying that people can't just leave it alone and respect that some people do still like and it IS still music... I mean, people are entitled to their own opinions but, come on, when you get rude about it, it's just unnecessary. State your case, and leave it alone... but it's very true that it isn't as good as it was in the 80's...haha, sorry about the rant dude...

I cosign lil sis........

yeah because of 50 cent and gay akon i mean you 50 cant rap and was dissed by the game so much that i though he would die

up jumps the boogy to the boogy to the boogy da beat

tell me about it......its always same kinda thing...
hater> hip-hop is full of gangsters who only talk about money, sex & b i t c h e s....
me> no its not you aint heard the real stuff
hater> goes on about god knows what
me > i get bored

No.....not for the actual good hip hop anyway.I love this MUSIC! It lets me express myself in a way I never done before.I love it from the bottom of my heart.I will always defend it,especially for those who make good HIP HOP MUSIC,hip hop that actually says sumtin,I will always defend that hip hop.
If i read another message dat says hip hop aint music,Im fiend to lose 12 points, cuz Ima cuss em tha hell out.

Hip Hop is Music! And it speaks to every hip hop cat around this world, for those who apprciate it, at least.
If it wasn't music, yahoo would have never classified it under ENTERTAINMENT AND MUSIC>
Thats all I have to say.

Stopped a month ago......once I tried to reason with an ignorant person to show them that rhh isn't as bad as people like to say and the idiot called me all kinds of racist names, I had to reflect.....I was getting s***** on for my love of music and allowing an ignorant person to get me that riled up that I really wanted to f*** them up...I realized I didn't need to do it anymore....I allowed them too much power over me.....that sucked.....

the ppl that dont like hiphop hav no concept of what is actually going on. but you cant blame them sometimes with all the fake bullshit

yes, im very TIRED OF IT. that's why i report poeple or give them stupid answers.

i hate most of the RnB/rap music out today but thts probs cause i'm more into rock.
I really like the song "good day", by Ice cube, tho. good tune =]

no b/c i don't i feel that the things they say r unacceptably rude to women and don't say they volunteer b/c then that means ur taking advantage of someone so anyway u slice it their wrong

No... hip hop is 33 years old, what I look like defendin a grown a + ss man??? Nah son... I don't roll that way

I will defend the hip hop in its entirety, but if someone hates mainstream rappers that are only in it for the money, let them. I love hip-hop. I may not love it to death, but I have a liking to it, but thanks to many mainstream rappers, they give it a bad name. Hip-Hop has turned into a consumer product for the masses to take, though it is supposed to reflect a positive black image. The African-American image is tarnished because of stereotypes negatively depicted on TV (Now if it is for comedy purposes that's different; They're making fun of stereotypes, therefore making it funny), and music producers deciding to use hip-hop to make it a suburban delicacy rather than urban, black cultural music.

I never defended hip hop. I'm not even into the modern rap scene like I used to. After 2004, I listen to more of the old school classics. There was hardly any profanity and violent theme before the '90s, apart from N.W.A. and the early gangsta rappers.

i do...but honestly i will fight it to the death...some ppl will always remain ignorant to the fact that hip hop is not all about "money, cash, hoes"

Yea...but more so on yahoo...Now I just ignore the ppl talking down on hip hop as a whole...But then again because I love hip hop soo much i have to especially when somebody says something wayyy left field.

I hate hip hop

I dont want anything to do with it.
