A brief music theory lesson:
The relative minor of any major scale is found by beginning on the sixth of the scale and playing the same notes as the major scale.
Viz., a C major scale notes played starting on A will give you an A minor natural minor scale.
But there are three types of minors.
Natural minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor.
The harmonic minor has an augmented second on the seventh degree of the scale, both upward and downward as played. So, A minor harmonic would be A,B,C,D,E,F,G#,A.
When performing this system in Mozart's day, some singers became confused because the augmented second jump on the sixth to seventh degree of the scale was difficult to hear. So they developed the melodic minor scale, where the sixth and seventh degree are raised 1/2 step ascending, and flatted when descending. Only the third is lowered both ways. So A minor melodic is A,B,C,D,E,F#,G#,A upward, and A,G,F,E,D,C,B,A downward.
And I guarantee your teacher is going to eventually make you play ALL of these types of minor scales.

A C-scale in major is:
C D E F G A B C

A minor C scale is:
C D E-flat F G A-flat B-flat C

Which minor scales do you mean ALL of them??? Do you not have any scales books?

Try the link below.

There are two parts to learning to play rhythm: chords and strumming.

There's chord dictionaries all over the internet.

For strumming, most songs boil down to either a four-beat or a three-beat. The tricky part is learning what to play in between to make it sound cool:

one-a-two-a-three-a-four, etc

Step 1: learn 3 major chords that go together (A,D,E....G,C,D...D,G,A)

Step 2: find a song that uses those chords. Think basic blues rock - chuck berry, early beatles, etc. I learned to play on paul simon's "Me & Julio Down By the Schoolyard"

Step 3: find the strum rhythm of the song....where are the downbeats? Where are the upbeats that give it that rolling lift?

Step 4: repeat with more songs, new chords and learn what each of them teaches you. Soon you'll have your own style

Which key - seems you need some education - do your self a favor and go to musictheory.net.
