No. The words in your songs don't have to ryme. Listen to music, and the words they use. They normally don't ryme at all.

When you write music, you should write music from the heart. So just write down words that go togather. The song wouldn't be anything more then written words without a heart behind it.

As long as the words are from the heart, then they can be anything you want them to be. No ryming, no stress, nothing. Just music.

I've written lyrics for years now, it kinda hard to explain. Every thing, every word should come out as it will. Don't change any thing when writting the song, cause the orginal is always better then the rewrite. Trust me, I've prooven this on a number of occations.

Just a tip when writing your lyrics. Always let the words come out freely. Hold nothing back. Go ahead, cuss the worlds out. There's NOTHING STOPPING YOU. Just let it go.

Okay, that's all I'm writting, though i could add a lot more to this. Maybe I will later.
Anyways, hopes this helps you out. =]

What matters is the message the words carry. Not if they sound the same.

It al depends on your style when recording and how the song is arranged. I know many songs that dont have a rhyming words in them but it worked because of the arrangement. But, I think it would be best if you made something rhyme. It adds more momentum to a trakk. But also, its all up to you. Its your song, do what you want. Just get prepared for people saying "why doesnt anything rhyme". And dont perform the song live because the audience will get tired of waiting for a word to rhyme.

no it doesnt matter has long as the song has a purpose then there is no problem

no they don't ...a lot of artists don't rhyme their lyrics

Nope!
The most important is the meaning behind your lyrics.
The next important factor would be if it sounds good with the tune of the song, and if it rhymes, that would be a bonus!

yes - or you die

No ... if it sounds right , its roght . Listen to Bob Dylan , Bob Marley , Syd Barret and get the idea

No, you don't have to make it ryhm but if you make it rhym it's easier to make a good rythem for the music. If you aren't making any music than you shoudln't worry about it.

depends if your are a rapper? but if not it doesn't matter as long as record companies can make millions off of it

i think so

A song should be based on something you feel passionately about --> The main goal is to convey your feelings in a creative way (perhaps metaphorically). The main goal shouldn't be rhyme granted rhyming does help a song out. So once you figure out your concept keep rewriting and rewriting...

Nope! Songs are basically poems, and not all poems have to rhyme.
