Well no. There are many African American musicians. Living Colour is an all black hard rock band and just look at Jimi Hendrix. Rock came from Blues. Many blues artists were black. Look at Bo Diddly and Chuck Berry. Two Rock legends.

Not really... Black people were influential to rock and roll (blues men). Black people were pioneering rock 'n' roll artists (Chuck Berry, Little Richard, etc.). Maybe most rock 'n' roll artists today are white, but rock 'n' roll was pretty much the baby of black people.

Who ever said that needs to acknowledge history that black ppl formed rock and roll...Still music is universal for everyone that cares to listen can enjoy it...Ppl would believe that WHITE ppl created or its THEIR music because they are more drawn to ROCK...but no I dont agree with that statement

no, rock came from progressive blues, a very black style of music, no racism intended. but did you know that rap was actually invented by white people? yup. blondie and bob dylan invented rap, when they started putting poetry to music.
