20yrs. later, did anyone here attend any of Pink Floyd's '88-" Mome!

Question: After seeing 7 indoor shows in 87 I was really pumped to see Floyd at giants stadium on June 3rd and 4th. The scenario was perfect. The 3rd i went with my future wife, the 4th with friends. The weather was ideal and the additives subperb. We had middle ground seats for both shows and the 3rd we sat 5th row.By these shows I was very familar with the songs on "lapse" which I now consider great.Everyone who went, and I mean everyone came out the show saying it was one of the greatest experiences in their lives.Save your breath about family events, I said ONE the greatest. I still feel this way. Does anyone else who went in 88 feel the same way?

I saw them, and they were PHENOMENAL. I only saw them once..in Louisville KY on that tour. But it was one of the greatest Concert experiences of My life. I was 21 then and had just gotten into Floyd. Great memories....Thanks

I wasn't there considering that was the year I was born.

To be honest, despite still being quality work I just don't think the band was the same after losing Roger Waters. Momentary Lapse is a really good CD but I think it could of stood to be a new project or just a David Gilmour album. It just wasn't the same without Waters.

it's awesome you have such great memories of it though. what I said of course does not take anything away from the members of Floyd that were still around then (just Gilmours and Mason, right?).

maybe they could of changed my mind live.
