What would you choose, in guitars?!
Question: Suppose you had about $700 to spend on an acoustic guitar. Would you buy a low-end Martin, not made of wood but of composite materials, or would you buy a high-end guitar from a low-budget line, such as an all wood Ibanez Artwood or Samick Greg Bennett?
I'm thinking, you can get solid wood from a low-budget line for a price at which Martin only sells composite materials. What would you do?

go for a low end Taylor they make some great guitars in the 400-800 price range
I'll buy an Ibanez. Good performance for a price that's quite affordable. Truly a guitar brand that puts more "sound" for your money!
hmmm i had 700 bucks 2 spend i would buy a Spider III 15 watt amp and a ESP Alexi 200 electric guitar...and i would skip the acoustic guitar
I would go for an Ibanez or Takamine
i'd buy the martin. they sound good the strings are nice they look good
composite meterial guitars are not always that good so it is better to check the sound quality first!.......but no all-wood guitar sounds bad....moreover with Ibanez quality is guaranteed!....so i think i would go for the ibanez but NOT before checking out the Martin!
personally i think the best acoustic giutars are takamines and they make some awesome guitars in ur price range, also lok at getting a semi acoustic, they're awesome and can be played as an acoustic or if you need it, which u probably will eventually will so check them out as well, but to answer ur question its better to get the low end of a top brand than the other way around, rock on
