As a straight up rapper...Talib...but who peaks MY interest more...Kanye...Even though Kanye's rhyme scheme is pretty basic...he can be serious...funny...contraversial...and hit you with really good metaphors...Alot of people sleep on his metaphors...Plus he flips some cold beats... Some yes...Ima be different and say Kanye...even though I like them both...

Talib easily. Kanye is better at production, but imo, lyrically, Graduation is a big step step down from College Dropout, and I wasn't really feeling Late Registration. Kweli, on the otherhand, has made several Quality albums, 2 certified classics, with 2 more quality albums.
Kanye's rhyme scheme is pretty basic, but then again, he does talk about "real" stuff. Kweli is sick with the flow...however, if he had the beats Kanye has, Kweli would possibly be even sicker. Though the tracks Hi-Tek has done have been ill...

His flow is comparable.
He isn't an airhead like Kanye
and he's more true to the game.
His content is MUCH better.

Lyrically? Talib is MUCH better. His flow is much more natural, he has doper punchlines and metaphors. I do think that his best solo joints have been produced by Kanye though.

A to the Simo RIP Tim Treadwell. Clearly Talib Kweli as I feel Kanye is not quite Hip Hop he has too many wierd songs where Talib keeps the tradition alive Kanye seems to want to bring the sound to the poprock crowd.
