Song writing?!
Question: my niece wants to write her mum a song for her birthday, and asked me for help, but i dont know what i am doin Please help me!

Erm, just start off by writing a couple of points about her mum (e.g. she's beautiful, nice to me, best mummy in the world,etc) then develop that into a short poem. After this, just try to find other words at the end of each line to make sure that they rhyme.

Why doesn't she use a tune she already knows? It could even be a tune to a nursery rhyme, but with her own personal words it'll sound very different.
