The best are still Stryper.
They are talented and they make no compromises with their faith or their metal sound.
I am lucky enough to be friends with them, they were great before they had their hits
I still have 2 albums on yellow and white vinyl.
Check out their music; it stands the test of time.

To me, when I hear Christian, I think castrated, at least as far as rock goes, like a band that might have been good if space daddy in the sky hadn't told them to tone it down

The Newsboys are really the only Christian band I listen to anymore, and only occasionally, I used to like Switchfoot and Relient K. I am really more into classic rock and country.

Almost all of the christian music I have ever heard is either preachy, wish-washy, sterile, derivative, generic, or just stupid.
That said, I like Flyleaf a bit. I used to listen to Reliant K a bit.
Mark Tremonti (of Alter Bridge and previously of Creed) is christian, and wrote music and some lyrics for both bands. I respect his work greatly.
