That's a very very tough question, and I believe NO he's not the greatest ever because there NEVER IS and NEVER WAS. There are so many talented drummers in this world that singling out him as the greatest is very impossible. But I would say, from the bottom of my heart, that no doubt there's GREATNESS in that drummer's playing, and he has made a very very BIG impact in rock drumming. One of the drummers worth mentioning indeed. But I really can't agree that he's the GREATEST EVER. Nope. Sorry.
