Name your most underrated rock and roll groups/ singers of all time?!

Question: Mine would be,LITTLE FEAT and then in no particular order, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes, Supertramp, the Marshall Tucker band ( they were far more than the 3 songs you always hear) The Animals, the Guess Who, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Captain Beefheart..I didn't name any singles or duos can you?

The Hollies. Gotta love Long Cool Woman & The Air that I Breathe.
You're like a hippie or something. WOW! :)

Endeverafter, even though they're new-ish.

Boston - Brad Delp
The Outlaws
Armaggedon
Badfinger
Dave Clark Five

I've always thought that Joe Lynn Turner was a very underrated singer. Everything he does is gold to me.

I also think that Paul Stanley of KISS will never get the credit he deserves for being an incredible vocalist, solely based on the band he sings for.

No Sweat. They were an irish rockband from the late eighties.
Whatever became of them I do not know?!!

How are any of these people "under-rated"? They are/were all smashing stars. Underrated would be The Phenomenauts, any one of many great local band across the country. If you can post them here and everybody knows the name, they are not underrated.

Check out Civil Twilight if you have a chance; a power trio from South Africa. Even stars like The Mars Volta are underrated compared to the guys listed here.

Thinny Lizzy is a good choice.

I know a lot of oldies or older bands that no one now has ever heard of.
Say "The Band" and ppl don't know that it is and actual band called "The Band". I love them!
And I'm a sucker for that Mr. Big...they should be bigger. That was funny and I didn't intend on it. Mr. Big should be bigger.

Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits/solo work
Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane
and the guy from Chilliwack - Bill someone?

maybe they're famous already, but still don't get enough attn.

Vinegar Joe
Nazareth
Stone the Crows

Deke :
Joe Lynn Turner does a great duet cover of 'Street of Dreams' on the last Blackmore's Night album.

The Smoking Popes

Embrace

Big Head Todd and the Monsters. AWESOME
