What I dedicate to my daughter is a Paul Simon Song, the name escapes me "there could never be a father who loved his daughter more than I love you." and my son loves Just the two of us by Will Smith. I used to sing My Love by the Everly Brothers to both of them while singing and rocking them.

Yep, i got one. This is the best song, without a doubt to dedicate to your child. The artist is Cheryl "Pepsii" Riley and the song is called "Thanks for My Child."
You could also try songs like "Beautiful" and "The Voice Within." Both of these songs are by Christina Aguilera.
Both Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart have done songs called "Forever Young", and they're each very different songs -- but both good parent-to-child songs.
Depending on what kind of mood your child is in, there's a strangely sweet little song by Tom Waits called "I Don't Want To Grow Up," but that's more a song from the perspective OF a child who doesn't really like what he sees about what being a grownup is like. But all kids -- and grownups -- feel that way sometimes, so you may like it anyway.
