How do you drop d tune your guitar?!
Question: I have a tuner and everything but I don't know wether i should tighten or loosen the string so can someone pls help me out that would help a lot

Loosen the E6 string to the same as the D4 string and also the E1 string to the same. and see what that gives you?
just tune the low e sting down to a d. i suggest you get a tuner
normally you tune the low E (first string) down a step to a D. you can also tune the high E (last string) down to a D. Gives a very full sound. enjoy!
Drop D means you only tune the low E string or the top string to D and all the rest are normal or stay the same. You would loosen the string. Just tune it to your D string.
