Randy was totally amazing. As you can tell by my avatar, he is my favorite guitarist of all time. To me, Randy Rhoads is what made Ozzy. Ozzy may have had other real good guitarists, but none near as talented as Randy. Diary of a Madman is a classic.
The question should be, What is not a good solo by 'a guy named Randy Rhoads'? I don't know why that wording makes me laugh. Maybe because Randy was more than just any dude. He f***ing rocked.
