What parts of your life come BEFORE hip hop?!

For me...its my daughter....I used to be so much more into my hip hop as an artist...but I realize...its very hard to balance pursuing a career as an artist....and being a RESPONSIBLE father....so my answer is my daughter..... what is yours??

If this was a 5-seater car...
I would be driving, my family would take shotgun, hip-hop would take the seat behind me and I'd make sure it's wearing the seat belt, education would sit next to hip-hop, and my passion for cars would take the seat next to it.
Soccer, friends, video games, other music, anime, and other things would be in the trunk. Not that I don't care about the last things but they're just not higher in priority than the 1st five.

I'm not an artist but I'm very passionate about Hip hop as if I were an artist. The only thing for me that comes before hip hop is my family.
For Hip-Hop, Everything...but that is due to me being more of a Merle Haggard and Lynyryd Skynyrd fan.
For that part of my career that you are referring to...
everything I do regarding a career or financials, I do FOR my wife and son.
Even going so far as to go back OTR (Over The Road)

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for God, so he comes first then as follows:
2. my twins- (you know they always comes first!!)
3. my family- cause they always seem to need me
4. my responsiblities as a responsible citizen as for me, I have to continue to give back to my community by volunteering, mentoring and sharing my wealth with (some) those less fortunate (the real less fortunate not peeps that be in front of the store beggin for money insetad of using that time to get a job!!)
5. my career - hey i gotta have the funds to take care of ma babies and spoil them!!
6. school - have to keep gettin that education so I can make more money to spend on the ones I love.
then I got time for hip -hop....the older you get the more responsibilities, but hip hop will always be in my heart and I will always jump at the chance to speak with others that have the same love for hip hop as I do.....i really love this room.....

My husband didnt get that part of being a father and family man before pursuing a dream...It was all good when it was just him or just us...But when my daughter came along and the money wasnt coming in...lol...The dream needed to be either worked on a lot hard or a job was needed...nahmean...He had projects that eventually made good money...but bad money management and thinking that he finally made it came into play and he forgot about "US"... therefore me and my daughter had to bounce...wasnt that I didnt support the dream cuz I wish it had became a career...But success in this game is not guaranteed...and he didnt work hard to get it.
