Is it me, or did Bullet for My Valentine ripoff Trivium?!
Question: I saw there new video Today, and they seem to have copied the look and sound. They even have more of a thrash influence Trivium used in their last album.
Why does BFMV have to do this, can't they be original?

And Trivium copied thrash metal bands from the 80's. I have to agree that they did change their style which is similar to Trivium and even the singer has a now similar voice of that of Matt Heafy's vocals. Overall, I think both have become more ifluenced by bands like Metallica, Megadeth and Testament now
I like the both of them, but i wouldn't say so.
Now, is it me or did Bullet for my Valentine change up a bit? I don't remember them being this heavy? But I have no complaints.
Well, I guess Trivium are just an influence towards them (Matt Tuck always wears a Trivium influence) but personally i thought they were trying to imitate Metallica. The vocals are like really similar, but i'm annoyed that Matt doesn't scream as much anymore, Her Voice Resides ROCKED. But i agree, they could be more original.
