I need some tips?!
Question: How can I improve singing while playing guitar? I can't do it for some reason. Even simple chords. I will either play to the tune of my voice or just stop playing. Any tips?

Rocco G - I'm a beginner at guitar to and I find it very hard to sing while playing guitar at the same time without having to gasp for air every 3 seconds. What I'm doing first is training my vocals at a different time seperately without playing the guitar. So I dedicate time playing guitar without singing until I get good enough at guitar, and sing without playing guitar until I can control how to get enough oxygen and breathe properly while singing so I don't gasp for air while having to move the strings fast and shift my hands all over the place while playing the guitar and singing at the same time. I hope I helped, and I know it may not be much but thats just my advice.
practice a lot.it took me also a year before i could sing and play guitar at the same time.
