Never let anyone including the media tell you who an idol is. You alone should determine that.
Why should the media have to tell us who we should look up to? You look up to whoever the hell you want to look. 98% of what the media tell us is bull **** anyway. I mean let them tell it we should be looking up to Brittney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsey Lohan. Have your own mind and pick your role models.

first off that a great pix of you, now it's not so much a sterotype as it our culture, I mean I totally agree that we as black people must do better with our appearance, and what we call style , but we're the only culture that adjust for the public, media, and anyone who disagree with the delivery of our culture. I was reading a article the other day about how Curtis Mayfield is now considered to be a genius of soul, but in his day he was consider to be a loud mouth like K west, so it's alot things in our culture that I strongly disagree with but I not going to change just because so jerk on a talk show disagrees.
But I wish I had to money to buy B.E.T and make it a quailty network of black entertaiment .
LMAO to "shucking and jiving"...I agree with all the above. Honestly, I don't even watch BET for this very reason. You would think one of the few networks devoted to Blacks is not the one to help upgrade the intended audience. Yeah, it's Black, but definitely not entertaining to me!
