1)Covenant - In Times Before The Light
- Original recording not the new one before the band changed its name and did a remake of the album
2)Troll - Drep De Kristne
- Solo project by Nagash from the Covenant (same band as above) made this album at the age of 14
3)Emperor - The Nightside Eclipse

Dark: i don't know even why, I love emperor - "the nightside eclipse". i actually grab that CD by accident, and when i first time I'd listened, i was really scared :) LOL... seriously. These guys know how to melt brain.

buddy of mine was death metal fan untill accident, well to make long story short, he was 1 step from graveyard. but he still listens to Death metal, that when I showed him kalmah. give it a try
For me, it has to be EMPEROR'S In The Nightside Eclipse.It broke limits back then, and the best thing about that album is the poor production. It creates such an eerie vibe, so atmospheric. When you compare it to Darkthrones Transylvanian Hunger (also poor production),musically there is no comparison. Darkthrone arent known for their music skills, only for creating an atmosphere.
You only have to listen to tracks suck as Inno a Satana, I Am The Black Wizards, Towards The Pantheon and the intro to Into The Infinity Of Thoughts to realise how different and musically spectacular the album is.
There is something about the poor sound that is sheer utterly evil sounding, that goes for Burzums albums to.
In The Nightside Eclipse - Emperor = Win
Powerful, atmospheric and chilling. It's interesting to listen the whole way through and not space out in bits that get tiresome (because they don't).
I've actually converted people to black metal after making them listen to this album.
