Answers: 3 of the most popular R&B MALE features for rap music ... each have their own distinct sounds and styles... of the three who's your pick? (and why?)

Jaheim
Nate Dogg
Akon

Jaheim...i think he isnt utilized as much as he should be he has an amazing voice, also like to add i think tank, dave hollister and case arent used as they should be either by rap artists.

Jaheim....because Nate Dogg and Akon have voices that eventually are so unique that they get annoying after awhile. Where as Jaheim has that soulful.."Put Your Woman First" type sound..... I feel overall he is more versatile than Nate Dogg and Akon so he could collab with more artists.

Jaheim......his voice is sexy and rough and he's fine as hell too. His music has soul behind it and hits me right in the heart every time! I love him and all his music.

Jaheim, hands down because the man can sing his *** off. Akon is ok, but IMO not as talented as Jaheim.

Nate Dogg? R&B? Nate Dogg is NOT R&B, Nate Dogg is a founding member of 213, one of the greatest underground rap trios of ALL time, with Snoop Dogg & Warren G.

EDIT: OK. Hope I wasn't too harsh. Personally, I would've just asked which one would put out a better hook, but that's just me. T-Pain is on everyone's songs nowadays too - maybe you could've thrown that out there...

Akon because it will sell.......

Akon because his voice is unique

nate dogg coz thats one of my favorite artists.. and he has great verses or bridge or whatever aside from hooks too

I like Jaheim's music better but on a hip hop track, i would much rather hear Nate Dogg...i think his voice flows better on a beat than anyone else's.

Akon can't sing....that man is horrible

I would have to go with Nate Dogg. I crossed Akon off the list quikk because he had his year when he was on everybody's hook. I cross Jaheim off the list because in order to be a "hook singer" you have to have crossover potential, Jaheim just screams R&B song. I just cant picture Jaheim on a hard rap song. I chose Nate Dogg because Nate has done it before. He was used heavily in the Dr. Dre Death Row records era. He just has a voice that says he can do R&B, but also that he has enough street cred to do a Young Jeezy or Lil Weezy trakk.

None of the above.

When I'm in the mood to listen to some real hip-hop, I don't want to hear ANYONE singing hooks.
