Chords for guitar?!
Question: OK I am writing a song for my girlfriend but I don't know what chords to use. I know just about every chord there is but I cant find any that sound right its sorta a love song but I'm not sure. I'm looking for suggestions any and all answers are greatly appreciated. Thank You.

It doesn't have to be complicated...she'll like it. If you really have good intentions, it is in no way cliche.
Annnyway, onto the chords.. Try starting with a G, Then a D, Then a C...you know...keep it basic! She wants to hear the WORDS :)
Make sure the music goes along with the lyrics. They both give equal emotion.
try a diminished chord or go from a major to a minor. BEST ANSWER I RECKON
Look up some simple chord progressions and then find a key that your voice can sing along to....keep it simple, sometimes less is better.
Do either D, C and G or A, G and D. In that order. Just play in appregios, pick in an odd order or just strum them. These chords sound really great on acustic guitar.
