I think they're too whiney, but we have to remember that I'm bias.
I think they play good music. Not my favorite, but I definitely like them.
It's just the fact that everyone thinks they're so emo and such... it's one of those bands where I dislike their fans more than their music.

i think hawthorne heights is an amazing band......and i am deeply sorry that casey calvert died =(.
i dont really like them, but its sad that their guitar player died

but now it dosnt seem like they are getting as much hype they used to and i dont really thnk any of there songs are as good as there older stuff
I honestly think that they are amazing and im not emo or anything like that at all (for everyone that thinks their only for emo pple). sure they do have screamo, but i know some bands WAY more emo-core than them.
I have both their CD's and there both good, but i probably like the second one more.
I have to admit that i didnt like them so much at first, but its the kind of music that grows on you and now i LOVE them
