Apples and oranges. You need both to have a balanced diet! Some days, I want Neil Young (usually Tonight's the Night), some days Dylan (usually Highway 61 Revisited). They've both crossed genres and social causes. I say you need both. And they're both hugely important to the fabric of our nation and the current state of music.

I would rathr listen to Neil Young. However, I believe that Dylan wrote better songs based on all the remakes by people like Jimi Hendrix.

i give the edge to neil young, i'm probably in the minority but i prefer his lyrics slightly to dylan's, and his voice is miles ahead of dylan's
