Are there any young women in highschool that listen to REAL Hip Hop?!


Question: When i say REAL, im not talking about songs on the radio, or MTV/BET. Im talking straight Hip Hop. Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, MF Doom, Madlib, J Dilla, Nas, Ghostface Killah. Any girls out there that DO like this type of music? Because I have yet to find a female my age that does. let me know

I am 19 years old and i love my underground. I come from a background where hip hop was life. I listen to slug, aceyalone, immortal technique, nas, dmx, mob beep, eligh and grouch, asop rock etc. I love this type of music and i have been hard into it since i was 14.

    But I listen to REAL hip hop.
    Yeah I like hip hop. I love Nas and Mos Def is ok. Not sure I would call that straight hip hop. I am an 16 year old girl. But I like almost all types of music.
    I am 24 and I was raised on all of them! Me and my husband talk about it all the time I don't think anyone now a days knows what the true meaning of hip-hop is or where it started from! and more so know one seems to care!!!! I mean when rappers boycott like Jadakiss because know one gets it you have got to start thinking about where music is going in this day and time. Thank you for giving a da*n and I hope that you find a girl who like REAL hip-hop!!!

    I know I'm a guy but I just wanted to say Thank You for asking that question :-D!
    I asked an couple of questions of my own on young females & Hip Hop on here..and all I got was.."Soulja Boy is cute & Chris Brown is the best rapper!"..or.."Why don't you get an life"...All because I blew-up the spotlight of young females who know little to nothing about Hip Hop. But yet still claim they do all because they watch BET/MTV....*SMH*
    im in highschool, i listen to the artistz u named up there as well as mainstream too, i think i have a good balance of it i guess.
