Question: sometimes it says ringtone unavailable for some reason does that ever change??? how can u tell before u download the song...i just wasted about 10 dollars on songs i already had to make ringtones out of them..it kinda made me mad

Heres the deal, I understand what your question is but dnt have an exact solution to it. But, i have an alternative. Their is a website where you can make your own personal ring tones and wallpapers all completely free. The website is myxertones.com and you must make a profile to make your ring tones, but like i said, its free and simple and a great alternative to your problem
