I like Arctic Monkeys/The Strokes - Where to next?!
Question: I like indie rock bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, the Wombats, Hot Hot Heat and The Hives. I know some of these arent exactly Indie but are there any similar bands that I might like? I would also like to find some less known bands that are sort of biggish now! I hate emo

Try REM, the granddaddies of the indie rock scene. Start with their earliest stuff.
Also try Kaiser Chiefs.
You know, I love those bands too. You should try Radiohead, they're awesome. I got "In Rainbows" today and it's amazing, but try an earlier album like "Ok Computer" first.

ok, first go for Spoon, then Arcade Fire, Iron and Wine are really good, and technecoloy, Radiohead's and Say Anything's new albums are indie but i would only choose Say Anything as a last resort. some songs are a bit too emo if u hate emo music.
