Question: I hope you are swabbing after each use! I find that a lot of people tend not to clean it. Also, do you have a mouthpiece cleaner? That helps with the smell as well. They have a peppermint mouthpiece spray that smells as good as it tastes too. If the smell is that bad, you may want to let your case air out for a day or so. Good luck, lol.

Clean it every time you use it.
A SOFT RAG with a string attatched, pull it through each piece, seperately. is it plastic? or wood? may need to replace the pads on the keys.
clean it every time you use it, but meanwhile, clean it out with some isopropyl alcohol on the cleaning rag.
my friend used to play clarinet........all u do is clean it each time u use it or 1 a day with the mouth swab u buy to clean it!
