I think so.

It's not hard at all, but it requires lots of time and practice practice practice.

noo, it's not hard at all, but it does require regular practice or you tend to forget things and lose the whole swing.

Depends on what you think is hard and your attitude toward the instrument after the initial newness wears off. You could play simple melodies and chords within a day ... but that wears quickly. Millions of people play piano, so It can't be that hard.

Expect to have a teacher expect to have to do scales and exercises, and expect to work for weeks on end on some music. A good teacher will have recitals a few times a year and have you play in front of an audience, usually parents and other students. Don't expect instant gratification or to be able to play concert level music in six months.

Like all instruments, don't give up ... keep at it.

The answer to this question depends on what your aspirations are... do you want to play classical music or simple pop tunes. So the answer ranges from extremely difficult down to pretty easy.
What do you want to play -
Mary had a little lamb... pretty easy for anyone.
Beethoven's Apassionata - difficult for most people.

The one thing you've got going for you is... it is easy to try.

depends on what type of music your want to play.
The basics of piano is very simple.. its the first instrument many young musicians learn. In about 3 or 4 months you can be playing decent songs on the keyboard. In about a year you can play popular music on the piano, as well as some basic classical music.

However if you're trying to play more intermediate classical music such as Chopin and Beethoven, that takes several years of instruction...

So good luck!

It depends on what you mean by hard. If you want to become the greatest pinao player ever, then yeah its hard. If you want to be able to play music for a band or something, then its not all that hard. If you have a natural talent for music, then you will of course catch on faster than other people, so its really hard to tell. My advice: try it and see how you like it! I LOVE playing piano.

I started already playing 2 instruments. It was easy enough for me, but I don't play seriously and am sure it gets harder as you go on. Basically, my answer is no.

yes, and you MUST practice most of your day in order to be able to play the amazing music. It is so worth it though.
good luck!
