Research? for the fans of lil wayne? why dont u guys buy his music?!
Question: i've talked to ALOT of lil wayne fans for my research and MOST of ya'll dont buy his music but u love him so much ''hes the best rapper alive'' ''etc all his cds are classic'' if hes so great y is it taking him over a year to go platinum with his cds if all these guys..... stans imma say stans cause alot of wayne fans became fans when the carter came out so u dont know much before that but if u guys are such fans y not go back and buy his material
i'm a t.i. fan thats my favorite mc i didnt become a fan until trap muzik though i went back and bought all cds and mixtapes before that (there wasnt taht many) but for all u folks that are so in love with this cat y dont u buy his current music or for that case even his past music

Anyways, the answer is that like a huge majority of hip-hop fans nowadays, fans are not loyal anymore. Look at Ghostface, he has a decent following, and he sold like 30,000 his first week, the same as Scarface and Styles P. These are all artists with more than 30,000 fans yet no one buys it.
People are lazy and cheap nowadays. You can't use the "well, only one song is good so why buy the whole album" if he is "the greatest rapper alive' right? And you don't have money, but your on a computer, have blank cd's to make copies, an mp3 player, and internet access but you don't have $10 for an album? hmm....
Be real, you dont really care about the artist. You like the music, and you will say it's good but in the end , you really dont support them at all.
First of all baby dat doesn't mean dat u r launching about listening 2 their music. Maybe ppl don't have the money 2 get it. even thou some ppl burn cds. So how does dat mean they didn't buy it??? u probably burned their cds 2.

people dont buy his CDs for the same reason they dont buy other people's CDs because you can get them for free illegal or legally plus CDs are becoming outdated with the rise of MP3 players and being able to hook up MP3 player up to your car, house ect.

I think its because there are so many sites where you download music for free so people do that instead of buying the albums which then hurts that artist an people get mad when there not high on the billboard list. i LOVE mariah carey so i always buy her albums and i was also a huge fan of DMX so i made sure i bought all his albums. i feel if you have that much passion foe an artist you should buy there album
