ALL Music Industries NO MORE? OUT OF BUSINESS? (rap, hip hop. rock, pop, punk, r!

Question: i think there are some artists/singers out there who are pretty mad or irritated. i watched a video of ghostface killa getting mad about how people are downloading his music instead of going out to buy his album, he was mad to the point where he says that if hes in your city, and you show him the album of his assuming that you bought from the store, that he will actually go kick it with you. also, whats with alicia keys album being one of the lowest selling albums? im assuming that the same thing is happening, if you ask me i blame IPODS and the APPLE company for this. ever since 2-3 years ago, when the ipod nanos/mini came out, limewire/ares/bearshare downloading rate went up by 64 percent according to survey in the fall of 07. i wonder how the music industry is going to be 5-10 year from now, knowing the fact that they are still going to release new edition of ipods and such. what do YOU think? Agree Or DisAgree?

*High-five* I agree 100% with you.

I personally don't think the music industry is there for money. Well, maybe currently, because they're losing so much money. But to me, they seem like the kind of business to promote musicians, or else, we wouldn't know the music we know today.

I mean, you can't tell an artist to paint and not sell it to share it with the world.

Good riddance. The music industry is a bloated corpse that promotes the worst possible music to the uncaring masses, and makes insane profits doing it. The sooner it collapses, the sooner we can be rid of these talentless pop artists who only have careers in the music business because a corporation is paying for their popularity. Then we can get back to local people supporting local musicians, and people making music for the love of creating, not the love of money.
