A more interesting question is "why do songs stick in your head?" Yeah, they are catchy, but what about when you go to sleep and wake up and it's still there? What's going on for the brain to be spending so much focus on this one song? Doesn't it have better things to do?!

i hate it and luv it when i hav a song stuck in my head lol what i do is listening to do song like a billion times b4 a sleep or it doesn't matter and then go do something else (go to sleep) and the next day i dont even rmbr wut the song sounds like.

I hate when that happens, especially if it's a song from a commercial that's retarded and you want to kill yourself in order to make it stop...what works for me is reading or taking a nap, it usually goes away after that.

Listen to that song about a million times or just try and keep busy to not think of the song
pull out a cd with a song you like and play it several times. Hopefully this song will push Whitney out of your head.
