More research? is there really a blame to be placed?!

Question: hip hop has been the blame for all of americas problems but in the midst of that hip hops fans have passed teh blame as well from parents to other artists ad some fans have even placed ALL of the blame on the south.

IS THERE THE REALLY BLAME TO BE PLACED OR HAVE WE AS FANS ALSO DECIDED TO LOOK FOR A SCAPEGOAT? i.e. the south

IS THERE THE REALLY BLAME TO BE PLACED OR HAVE WE AS FANS ALSO DECIDED TO LOOK FOR A SCAPEGOAT? i.e. the south

America's problems that exist are the same ones that always have.. even BEFORE Hip-hop.. it's just that Hip-Hop put them on blast and shed light on them by speaking the truth of them through music... People want to blame Hip-Hop because we brought attention to problems that they were trying to turn their sight from..

If there is any blame to place, it is on the government.

Someone has to be a scapegoat. The south is an easy pick. They're the reason I'm broke, still live in the hood, and why my kids don't act right. See how that flows. There are tons of things that contribute to the failure of ones family. I don't know why they do it, but it is ridiculous.

All of America's problems? Thats a big overstatement. In all actuality it is brought up only when the politicians in power need a diversion of another conflict that is amongst them all.

And blame on the South isnt because of serious dilemma. Its because some dont like the music they are making.

Nope, it all hip hops and raps fault, that's why rap is banned in places like Iran. It was leading the youth down the sewer. Just like it is doing to ours. Kids grow up now and want to join gangs, not work, think they can get rich by rhyming every third word, smoke dope, drink champagne and mis treat women. Did I leave anything out?

Ok, I don't live in America, but it seems to be controlled by a minority of people with a pretty right wing agenda - even when the Democrats are in charge. (that's not a diss to the US, I don't like the people running my country either). These people like to let everyone think anything but their policies are what's to blame for the problems in their country. It happens all over the world.
As far as hip hop fans blaming the south, no - I don't think all the blame can be placed there. I might hate some of the crap that makes its way into the charts, and you can look at it as being the fault of the south, the suits, whoever. Certainly some of the blame can be placed on the people who just want to make a quick buck. But ultimately, it's supply and demand. If there was no supply there would be no demand. So the blame, at the end of the day, has to lie with the record buying public.
Nobody seems to want to think any more. We want instant everything, including our music. People want something that makes them dance and they can learn to words to quickly - they don't seem interested in music the requires them to put a bit of effort into it. The same can be said for books and movies. So I think the only solution to it is for us as human being to start using the brains we were born with.

I'll take the blame for this one.
As for you, please use the spell check button before you hit submit.
I live in the South and am happy with our place in society. I also play in a Bluegrass band and we sing songs about killing sweethearts and drowning bad men in the river, but we don't get the credit until some rapper wants to do our songs.
Wah wah!!

Nope... There's no one to blame. But everyone needs a scapegoat. I remember when I was growing up... Whenever something went wrong and it was my own fault... I never blamed myself, i'd blame my mom, my brothers, sleep, hell i'd even blame the rotation of the Earth if I could.

Everyone likes to place the blame on people. People are blaming the South because this is where alot of the music that they aren't feeling is coming from. The South is "hot" now. So, of course people will place the blame on the South.

And like someone said... It's no ones fault except for the buyers and the people that actually support this type of music. So the artist and labels and whoever else will continue to put this type of music out, because they are getting paid. All for the love of money right? Yep. I know, if I could put out some BS and make some money off of it... I sure would. Do you really think i'd care who blamed me? Nope... I'd be laughing to bank.

Ok... I was rambling and went way off topic... But, you know me... That's to be expected.

it's Soulja Boy's fault.
