One word. Ignorant.
Dang if I am gonna dance to Soija boi. The song is about a guy taking his you know what on out, and ______ on a girl's back. I can't believe a song so nasty was a hit.

lol

well.. it doesn't really offend me as long as the beat of the song is good then it's all good :-)

instead of "i got my bitches and ho's w/ me in the cluub"
we prefer
"i got my baby-girl we/ me in my hottuub"

something like that.. haha

peoples lyrics dont offend me as a women....unless they about me. what is funny and i see it 9 times out of 10 is women who do get offended by lyrics get mad because they acting like the song talking about....
its a song....it aint about me so if its hot, the beat hot im shakin my ***!

if a woman dances to a song then it obviously doesnt offend her!! : )

Because they're largely the embodiment of the misogynistic stereotypes advanced in the songs?

And Bob Marley only shot a corrupt pig who was hassling him in the song.

Half the time we're not listening to the words. Understand this from someone who's married to a music producer lyrics with no sound behind it is a poem it's the beat that brings the words to life and truly if we don't consider ourselves like the women being portrayed in the song who really cares.
I shot the sheriff by Bob Marley is talking about possible murder and we sing and dance to that all the time.

It doesn't offend me cause I'm not one of those nasty girls they sing about.. I dance to it cause the beat makes me want to move and thats all.

i've already asked this question kid

You are right. A lot of lyrics slam girls and they don't care. Instead they start freak-dancing with each other.

If I were you (I'm assuming you're a guy.) I would stay away from those girls, who obviously don't have any respect for themselves, and I would go stand by the other girls at the punch bowl as you wait for a "more classy" song.

The song doesn't offend me because I am a woman and I know that I'm nothing like the women portrayed in the song. If I didn't dance to those types of songs I'd be sitting most of the night. Also the women that are so offended by the songs are more than likely the ones that are really stank, not the one dancing to the songs.

it doesnt bother most women because we feel as if its not talking directly to us. i mean we are not dumb we kno exactly what the songs are talkin about. some of us dance to music like that cuz we like the song, the beat, the artist, etc. but since u are a guy u most likely wont understand it beside music is nothing but poetry (well some of it anyway) with a rhythm to it. but as for me i dont really listen to a lot of rap most that good ol' r&b.

dunno its got a good beat
