The best concert I've seen, is Anthrax opening for Motorhead, at the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio. I believe it was in '03.
I saw Pearl Jam play at Spartan Stadium in San Jose, CA. I believe it was the summer of '97. They played a long and awesome set that night. I haven't been to a show that has topped that one yet.
Rancid, they had so much energy and were all over the stage they were amazing to watch (I suppose it didn't hurt that I was front and center in the mosh-pit). I think I saw them in 2003... give or take a year.
seen radiohead at glastonbury i think it was 98. they were playing songs from ok computer for the first time, they were brilliant

I've seen them several times at multiple locations (3 times since 2006). They are such an amazingly fun band with a ton of energy. There is always plenty of crown interaction and they will often hang around with the fans afterward. Great Band!!!
Honorable mention:
Rancid with AFI and The Distillers in 2000.
I don't really care for The Distillers, but Rancid and AFI were incredible together. Especially AFI back then (just released Art Of Drowning).

Papa Roach is up there, they toured with Hed Pe a year or so ago. Papa Roach was amazing, but Hed Pe stole the show. So much interaction with the crowd. Their singer has so much energy. I saw them at the Marquee in Tempe, AZ.
It's a toss up between that and Godsmack. Their shows are amazing. I saw them at Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ, as well as AVA Amphitheater in Tucson, AZ.

Cheap Trick - Chicago - the 80's sometime - rumor was, the lead singer found out he and his wife were going to have their first child (it was always a rumor, but the girl is the right age to justify it) and they played and played they would not stop, finally got home at 3AM and had to work the next day they were smokin'!!!

Well, I saw the Black Lips in DC. That was RETARDED good! I saw Spoon in Athens, GA 2 years ago. Those guys do a really good show as well--very classy.
I saw Atreyu with Haste the Day and a couple other bands down in Richmond a few months ago... BAD *** CONCERT!!! I absolutely LOVE Atreyu!

Alice Cooper also put on one hell of a show too though. I seen him twice and had an awesome time.
