That's a matter of opinion, but I personally dug it. After a fashion it was a way for rock to touch bases with country and break a music barrier. Perhaps more people will come to appreciate country because of it. Either way I think it was awaesome.
i dont know about ruined it, but it definetly put a twist on it. guitar instead of fiddle, but overall i liked it

i hang out in bars because i play pool and I'll tell ya that song was ruined as soon as the first person tried it for karaoke
