I dont know what you would consider punk, but Flyleaf is pretty good and is a heavier band.

What about the Donnas? I haven't heard them in a long time but I seem to remember that they could rock.
well, i dont kno that many, but Paramore is a good band, but only the lead singer is a girl. The Veronicas are really ggod too. these are the only 2 i know of that are really good. check them out!

I think Transvision Vamp is punk - 'We don't care' is my fave track from them.
